Frieren the main character is an elf, but there are also three other elves in the manga: Serie, Craft, and Milliarde. About a thousand years ago, when the Demon King was in power, he ordered an attack on the elves. This attack destroyed Frieren’s village.
In Frieren Beyond Journey’s End, elves are a mysterious race that we don’t know much about. They are rear species who lives over thousands of year. However, they find it hard to express their emotions, which is causing their numbers to decrease.
1. Frieren
Frieren is the main character of the series. She is an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years. As an elf, her understanding of human emotions is not very good. Because elves live much longer than humans, she thinks that if she gets too attached to a human, she will lose them too quickly. She is a very powerful mage and is part of the hero party that defeated the Demon King.
2. Serie
Serie is an Elven Great Mage from the Mythical Era. She is one of the oldest elves in the series, even older than Frieren. Like Frieren, she doesn’t express her emotions much. Because of her vast knowledge of magic, she is known as a living grimoire. Serie is the head of the Continental Magic Association and the teacher of the great mage Flamme.
3. Kraft
Kraft is an elf Monk. Once, Kraft was a brave Warrior known for his heroic deeds, like rescuing a village in the Northern Lands near the Rohr Road. But later on, he decided to become a Monk. He hoped that the Goddess would recognize his good deeds in Heaven, especially since many who knew about his bravery had already passed away.
4. Milliarde
Milliarde is first appeared in manga chapter 69. Milliarde is an Elf friend of Frieren who made the inscription declaring Boshaft as the best spirit in the world. Fass asks Frieren’s group to help remove a magic barrier around the Boshaft supply and shows them a message from Milliarde. Frieren is hesitant because she knows Milliarde and isn’t keen on helping Fass. However, Fern and Stark persuade her to assist, so she agrees.
