Beru is an immensely powerful shadow of Jinwoo. During the Jeju Island arc, Beru killed Goto Ryoji and wiped out every S-rank hunter who was on this raid. If Jinwoo hadn’t appeared at that time, Beru would have killed every one of them. However, Jinwoo was able to kill him and extract his shadow.
At that time, Igris used to be Jinwoo’s strongest shadow, but Beru took that place from Igris as a general-grade shadow. In the final arc, Beru became a marshal-grade shadow.
Before Bellion’s appearance in the series, Beru was the strongest shadow of Jinwoo, but in the final arc, Bellion took that place from him. He also challenged Bellion to a fight, but unfortunately, he was defeated.
How Powerful He Is
Beru’s physical prowess is unparalleled; he effortlessly crushed Cha’s sword with his bare hand, decimated an Arch Lich with a single strike, shattered the Frost Monarch’s icy prison, and severed Querehsha’s fingers with a swift slash.
His speed is equally remarkable, demonstrated when he dodged Cha’s point-blank attacks without even shifting his stance, penetrated an Arch Lich’s chest before it could react, and covered the distance from Jeju to Busan in mere minutes. In terms of durability, Beru is a behemoth. He withstood Jinwoo’s formidable attacks during their sparring session with minimal damage and rose unscathed after being pummeled by Bellion.
Beyond his physical attributes, Beru possesses a unique set of skills. He has the ability of regeneration, the power of gluttony which allows him to absorb the skills and knowledge of his prey, and the capability to fly using his wings. Additionally, Beru can manipulate his size to enhance his strength at the expense of agility, or vice versa by compressing his form.
His bladed, tentacle-like tongue enables him to spit a potent paralysis poison that, due to its magical nature, can kill a victim within seconds. Furthermore, Beru is a proficient healer, having restored Jinho from the brink of death and healed himself after his intense bout with Jinwoo.
