Another DreamWorks Beauty, The Wild Robot by Chris Sanders, is a heartwarming movie about learning to adapt, love, and care for others. Based on Peter Brown’s book, it show’s a story that’s easy to follow but full of emotions.
To be honest, I enjoyed this movie. Roz’s journey from being a lonely robot to a loving mother was so sweet. Her bond with Brightbill felt real and emotional, especially when he learns to fly for the first time. The characters were funny and lovable, and the story had a nice mix of humor and serious moments.
The voice acting was amazing too. Lupita Nyong’o did a great job as Roz, making her sound robotic but also kind. Pedro Pascal as Fink was hilarious and added a lot of personality to the story.
The only small problem I had was that the ending felt a bit slow. But overall, the story wrapped up nicely, leaving me with a warm feeling.
The Story
Roz is a personal assistant robot who gets stranded on a wild island. She doesn’t know how to fit in, and the animals there are afraid of her. Slowly, she learns their language and starts to understand them. When Roz finds an orphaned baby goose, Brightbill, she decides to take care of him. With the help of Fink, a sly and funny fox, Roz raises Brightbill as her own child. Together, they face many challenges and grow closer as a family.
This movie is about kindness, love, and finding your place in the world. It’s both funny and touching, with some moments that made me laugh and others that made me tear up.
Beautiful Animation
The animation in The Wild Robot is stunning. The colors are bright and make the island look alive. The style feels like a mix of 3D animation and hand-painted art. Every scene looks so detailed and beautiful, it feels like stepping into a magical world.
The music also adds a lot to the story. The soundtrack makes you feel the emotions of the characters, from happy moments to sad ones
Final Thoughts
The Wild Robot is a great movie for kids and adults. It’s fun to watch, looks amazing, and has a big heart. It’s a story about family, learning to adapt, and being kind to others. If you’re looking for a feel-good movie, I highly recommend it.
For me, it’s a solid 9/10. It’s one of those movies that stays with you even after it ends, and I would happily watch it again.
