They travel back to Ingary, where Abdullah finds out who Sophie really is. Wizard Suliman changes her back into a human, and the soldier runs away with baby Morgan and the genie to the moving castle. Sophie and Abdullah use a magic carpet to reach the castle, which is now controlled by djinns who have kidnapped princesses, including Princess Valeria and Flower-in-the-Night.

Sophie, Abdullah, and their friends, including the princesses, Morgan, and a grumpy genie, come up with a clever plan. They use Sophie’s ability to talk and Morgan’s cries to take back the castle. In a surprising twist, we learn that Howl was the genie and Calcifer was the magic carpet. The family is happily reunited, and peace returns.

Three years later, House of Many Ways continues Sophie’s story. She is now a skilled sorceress. The kingdom’s treasury is missing, and Sophie is asked to help solve the mystery, not just because she is talented but also because she is married to Howl, the Royal Wizard.

Howl joins Sophie on this adventure, disguised as a playful young boy named Twinkle, pretending to be her nephew. This way, Howl can help without causing diplomatic issues. Together, they work to solve the mystery of the missing treasury.

Their journey in House of Many Ways is full of magical mishaps and surprising discoveries. With Sophie’s sharp mind and Howl’s cleverness, they uncover a plot involving a prince and a magical item called the Elfgift.
